The Research Behind the Practice.
We explored the synergy between matcha and meditation to understand its potential. Here's what we found.
Our Study: Matcha Meditation vs. Standard Meditation
Over four weeks, 18 participants practiced a 10-minute guided meditation with matcha every weekday, while a control group of 18 practiced the same meditation without it. The results showed greater improvements in the matcha meditation group.

Why Matcha? The Power of L-Theanine & Caffeine
Matcha contains a unique combination of L-theanine, an amino acid that promotes relaxation, and caffeine. Unlike coffee, this synergy may create a state of calm, sustained focus - ideal for meditation. Research suggests L-theanine may help manage stress responses and support cognitive functions like attention [1][2][3][4][5][6].
